Sacramento River Striped Bass fishing is the place to be for angler looking for excitement on the water. The Striped Bass is a saltwater species that comes into freshwater to spawn. They have been know to reach up to 75lbs. and are a strong fighter. Stripers are easily one of California's most exciting game fish. The average size males run 2 to 10lbs. Females range 5 to 15lbs.

Because they come up the Sacramento River from the Ocean to spawn, the river is abundant with "Stripers" of all sizes.
Many are landed after 20-30 minutes fights.
